Riot City Records - Vice Squad.

Vice Squad continued using their label name Riot City on subsequent EMI releases, and I continued to use the name for this label - seeing no reason to change - we were first after all! It did lead to some eventual bad publicity though! accused of being a back door to EMI and going against punk ethics - all utter rubbish, yet all part of this musical circus I guess.

As mentioned previously tours were set up, and these would go on to become probably the
most enjoyable and crazy episodes of the whole Riot City story. Taking on the roll of tour merchandiser, manufacturing a number of T-shirt designs, badges, hankies, stickers, posters - anything with the name Vice Squad on it! it would all get thrown in the truck with band, road crew and gear, and off we'd go! - never imagining what we were about to be faced with.
